I've enjoyed reading Pet Boy with first and second graders. Stanley was not very responsible, but he eventually learned his lesson. How can you show that you're responsible?
I water my mom's plants and give my dog food when her bowl is empty. And I empty the dishwasher with my brother. And I put my clothes away and make my bed.
